There are so many gorgeous locations in and around Scotland that lend themselves to having the perfect outdoor ceremony.

Pros
- Breathtaking views and natural backdrops create the perfect setting
- Flexibility with space (thinking beach, forest or a field) whereas a venue may be restricted on numbers due to the room size
- Unique settings – a chance to break away from the norm and pick a quirky setting – somewhere your guests will remember forever
- Natural lighting
Cons
- The weather – no control over this factor so I would suggest you always have a backup plan
- Limited availability – you can’t have outdoor weddings all year round – especially in Scotland unless you’re very brave
- Costs – depending on your requirements it could prove to be more costly than using an indoor venue – always do a costing exercise before you start to book.
